More than just a hearing test!

• Hearing Evaluations
  The hearing evaluation consists of several different components: a case history, physical examinationof the ear, pure tone test speech audiometric tests, and acoustic immittance audiometry.
  The right hearing aid prevents missing out on many messages that can be critical to a good and satisfying life. The audiologist will recommend from many manufacturers and the latest digital technologies to ensure that your aid is right for you.
• Assistive Listening Devices
  In some cases, hearing aids are not the complete answer to hearing difficulties. There are other listening devices designed for specific sounds or specific situations. These include amplified telephones, vibrating alarm clocks, smoke detectors and other alerting devices with flashing lights. FM systems are often appropriate for classroom or theater. Wireless TV listeners help you keep the volume down for others in the home.
• BlueTooth Technology
  BlueTooth technology enables headsets to link wirelessly with cell phones. You can also now use it to connect certain hearing aids wirelessly to your phone. We are working with a new technology from Starkey (nicknamed "ELI") that gives you new options for cell-phone use.
• Ear Molds: Swim molds & Custom-made noise protection earmolds
  Floatable swim plugs can be made in a variety of colors for adults and children. Noise protection molds come in different styles for different situations (shooting firearms, playing in a band, etc.)
