More than just a hearing test!
- Hearing Evaluations
The hearing evaluation consists of several different components: a case history, physical examinationof the ear, checking the ears for wax, pure tone test, speech discrimination tests, and acoustic immittance testing to rule out the need for a medical referral.
- Hearing Aids
Based on your hearing test results, the audiologist will recommend a hearing aid that is right for you. We work with many hearing aid companies to offer the most up to date and state of the art technologies to meet your needs. Being fit with the right hearing aid for your lifestyle, allows you to hear clearly and comforably in all listening situations so that you can have a better quality of life.
- Assistive Listening Devices
In some cases, hearing aids are not the complete answer to hearing difficulties. There are other listening and alerting devices designed for specific sounds or specific situations. These include amplified telephones, vibrating alarm clocks, smoke detectors and other alerting devices with flashing lights. FM systems are often appropriate for classroom or theater. Wireless TV listeners help you keep the volume down for others in the home.
- Wireless Technology
Wiresless technology enables your hearing aids to link wirelessly with television, computer, radio, bluetooth phones, and cell phones with bluetooth technology. We are working with a new technology from Starkey called Wi (pronounced We) that gives you these options.
- Ear Molds: Swim molds & Custom-made noise protection earmolds
Floatable swim plugs can be made in a variety of colors for adults and children. Noise protection molds come in different styles for different situations (shooting firearms, playing in a band, etc.)
