Our Staff
Deana Kay Langer, M.A.CCCA, FAAA
Deana has been an audiologist for the past 39 years. She received both her Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree from the University of Maryland. She began working at the Veterans Administration in Washington D.C. From there she went to New York for 4 years to work at Suffolk Rehabilitation Center and at Long Island Jewish Hospital. In 1971 it was off to Ohio and work with physicians in the Columbus area. The move to California came in 1979 and work with more physicians in the San Fernando Valley. Since 1989 Deana has had her own hearing aid practice in West Hills, providing hearing health care for all ages.
Jennifer N Keller, Au.D.FAAA
Dr. Keller obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, IL in 2003. She continued her graduate education at Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis, MO where she received a Doctor of Audiology degree in May 2007. Right after graduation she joined Hearing Aids Etc. Dr. Keller enjoys the field of Audiology and the ability to improve quality of life through enhancing hearing capabilities.
Norine CuevasFront Desk, Repair Technician
In 1998, on October 2, Norine joined our team. That was the day we opened our new office. Over the years Norine has taken on the job of Office Manager and Repair Technician. She also maintains our well-equipped repair laboratory. This service saves our clients lots of time and money. Another of her duties is to keep the candy jar filled. Her claim to fame is that she can remember everyone's name and she promises "fast service, no matter how long it takes."
Maria CuevasInsurance, Scheduling and Minor Repairs
Hearing Aids, Etc. welcomed Maria in April of 2000 as our insurance biller/adjuster. Like her sister, Norine, she has expanded her role to include doing minor repairs. Maria is our bilingual "Jane" of all trades, filling in wherever needed. She is also very good at cleaning hearing aids. This way you can hear her when she says "give me your money" or for our Spanish speaking clients, "tu dinero".
Teri BaggotBilling Assistant
Teri Baggot has been employed at Hearing Aids Etc. part-time since 2006. As the billing assistant, Teri works in conjunction with Maria on all insurance matters. Additionally, she is in charge of checking in repaired hearing aids, making appointment reminders and sending out birthday cards.
Jean LangerVolunteer
Where would an office be without a great volunteer? Deana's mother-in-law, Jean, volunteers on Wednesdays to ensure all files are filed. She assists the staff with any additional needs, always offering a smile with the task.
