Our Staff

Langer, M.A., CCC-A, FAAA Deana Kay Langer, M.A., CCC-A, FAAA
Audiologist

Deana has been an audiologist for the past 43 years. She received both her Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree from the University of Maryland. Her work began at the Veterans Administration in Washington D.C. From there she went to New York for four years to work at Suffolk Rehabilitation Center and at Long Island Jewish Hospital. In 1971 it was off to Ohio and work with physicians in the Columbus area. The move to California came in 1979 and work with more physicians in the San Fernando Valley. Since 1989 Deana has had her own hearing aid practice in West Hills, providing hearing health care for all ages.


Sweeney, M.S., CCC-A Layla Sweeney, M.S., CCC-A
Audiologist

After doing her internship in our office in 2006, Layla Sweeney has decided to work with us once again.  Layla currently holds a Bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with her Masters Degree in Audiology from California State University in 2006.  She has a new and energetic perspective on our industry.  We are happy to have her on our staff.


Cuevas Maria Cuevas
Insurance, Scheduling and Minor Repairs

Hearing Aids, Etc. welcomed Maria in April of 2000 as our insurance biller/adjuster.  Maria is our bilingual "Jane" of all trades, filling in wherever needed. She is also very good at minor repairs, and cleaning hearing aids. This way you can hear her when she says "give me your money" or for our Spanish speaking clients, "tu dinero".


Baggot Teri Baggot
Billing Assistant

Teri Baggot has been employed at Hearing Aids Etc. part-time since 2006.  As the billing assistant, Teri works in conjunction with Maria on all insurance matters.  Additionally, she is in charge of checking in repaired hearing aids, making appointment reminders and sending out birthday cards. 

Rojas Jasmine Rojas
Administrative Assistant - Front Office

The newest memeber of our team in charge of the front office.  Jasmine will also keep your ears clear of wax and is a licensed LVN.  She is also here to help answer any questions you may have, help to trouble shoot hearing aid malfunctions, schedule appointments and keeps the candy jar full.  Her goals include returning to school to become a reigstered nurse.
